What We Believe that ...

• there is one God who is sovereign and who exists eternally in three persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  (Romans 8; Ephesians 1:13-14; Matthew 28:19)
• God in love for us sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and to be raised from the dead.
  (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16-18)
• the Bible is the Word of God written by inspiration through the Holy Spirit. As God’s Word, the Bible is the final authority for doctrine and for life.
  (2 Timothy 3:16)
• all have sinned, but all can be saved. Salvation is from God as His free gift to us. The death of Christ on the cross was the sufficient payment for our sins. The salvation of God is available to those who put their faith in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, as their Saviour.
  (Romans 3:23, 6:23)
• those who believe in Christ must repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptised.
  (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)
• the church is the body of Christ on earth. The Holy Spirit empowers the church to bring the Good News of salvation to the lost and to disciple the saved to maturity in Christ.
  (Ephesians 4:1-16)
• Christ will one day return and reign forever.
